It's all about highlighting, but it isn't easy to find the perfect highlighter for your skin tone! The other day I wen't to NYX and I've found a really nice and decent highlighter for light skin tones. The NYX Illuminator Rehausseur D'éclat is available in five colors for any skin tone. 

This illuminator isn't as shiny as a highlighter, but it still gives my skin the right amount of glow. I always love to highlight my cheekbones and right above my lip.

Dieser ist nicht so glänzend wie ein üblicher 'Highlighter', aber er verleiht der Haut dennoch den gewünschten Effekt. Ich persönlich mag es immer sehr meine Wangenknochen und ein kleines stückchen über meiner Lippe hervorzuheben. 

I am in love with the packaging of the NYX Illuminator Rehausseur D'éclat because it looks quite glamorous and classy! On the inside is a large and practical mirror. The powder itself hasn't any notable scent. The product applies smoothly without any fallout. I have to say that this highlighter is nicely pigmented without being overly flashy.

Ich liebe die Verpackung von dem NYX Illuminator Rehausseur D'éclat, weil diese sieht einfach total schick und glamourös aus! Wenn man die Verpackung öffnet kommt ein großer Spiegel zum Vorschein. Das Produkt hat keinen bemerkenswerten Geruch. Der Illuminator lässt sich einfach auftragen ohne zu bröseln. Dabei ist das Produkt sehr pigmentiert ohne zu auffällig zu sein.

I really enjoy this product! It's easy to use and I can't do anything wrong. The highlighter applies smoothly without any fallout. The NYX Illuminator Rehausseur D'éclat illuminator is quite pigmented and the packaging is very glamorous! Have you tried it?

The Maybelline Master Blush Palette includes four shades. Three blushes and one highlighter. This palette is filled with every blush you basically need. There is a light peach shade, a pink and a dark berry shade. The highlighter is golden and will match most skin tones.

The packaging is quite nice. It's quite sturdy and travel friendly. You basically have every blush you need in one palette. I personally would love if there was a mirror included. All shades are extremely pigmented and will last basically all day long. All blushes have a matte finish and the highlighter has glitter in it. However, you need to blend well or the blush looks patchy and there is also a lot of fall out.

I personally really like this palette and think that everyone needs it! It's under 10€ and you really get a lot for your money. All colors are highly pigmented and will last all day long! The only thing I personally don't like is the amount of fall out and that it can look patchy if you don't blend well.

Lately I am really into concealer palettes. That's why I was very excited about the new Maybelline master camo palette. It comes in two shades and each palette contains six products. Two correction shades, two concealer shades and two highlighting colors. It should cover dark circles, imperfections, redness and smaller veins.

Each product is extremely creamy and blendable with a matte and powdery finish. The two correction shades will neutralize small veins and redness. Both concealer will cover imperfections and the two highlighting colors will set highlights to the high points on your face. 

The corrector shades nor the two concealer are able to cover my under eye circles fully. I really miss a pinkish or purple shade in this palette. Both highlighting colors look great once blended and they are very shimmery. 

In the past there wasn't a lot of drugstore choices if you were looking for contour kits. Now there are a lot of options out there. Even Astor came out with a contour kit. It is available in two shades and comes with a highlighter, a blush and a contour shade. I chose the light shade because I am very pale and I liked the highlighter shade a lot. This product is basically supposed to give you a natural and healthy look. It even comes with introductions on the back.

The packaging is simple, but still quite nice. I don't like that the shades aren't separated between each other. They will easily mix together and some makeup brushes aren't small enough to use. Each shade contains glitter and it will be quite visible on your face. All shadows don't have a lot of fall out. Only the highlighter shade might have some. However, all shades are easy to apply and very blendable. They won't last all day long, but at least 8 hours. The bronzer and the blush aren't that pigmented, but you can definitely build the color up until you like it.  

The face beautifier contouring palette is a nice option for everyday use. The contouring shade is quite reddish, but it will look nice once blended. Right now I really love the glittery finish for spring. It gives me a fresh and healthy look. The blush and highlighter are beautiful. Both shades are gorgeous and will match a lot of skin tones. I would recommend this palette for everyday use. It isn't something for a nighttime makeup look, but a lovely product for daily use.

Rire isn't a very popular brand and a lot of people don't know about it. However, I really like it. Their cosmetic is affordable and they only sell high quality products. Rire claims that the luxe dual stick is easy to use and travel friendly. This product should be also suitable for beginner or people with a busy lifestyle. It's also great if you don't want to spend too much time on your makeup and still wanna look polished.

I am so in love with highlighting and contouring these days, but I usually only use powders because it has to look somewhat natural. Also, my face shape is more on the round side and I feel more confident if I contour. However, it's hard to find a cool toned and affordable contour shade. TonyMoly just released a cheektone highlighter duo and two contour duo shades. I have the contour duo only in CT02 for yellow and warm skin tones. Both products are supposed to be long lasting. The highlighter contains pearl particles for a naturally sparkling effect. The cheektone contour duo should provide vivid coloring in combination with two delicate shades for a natural look. 

If you love contouring you should definitelly check these products out. They will give you a natural and healthy look that will last the whole day! The TonyMoly cheektone duos are also smudge proof and the pigmentation is fantastic. Even beginners are able to use them because the contour shade blends easily and there won't be any harsh lines. The highlighter isn't too overwhelming, but still present and the color is perfect for a lot of skin tones. However, the pan size of each product is way too small to use both shades separately. 

The packaging is made out of plastic and it seems to be sturdy enough to travel with. The pan size is big enough even for a large makeup brush. You can find directions on how to use this product on the back. This palette should be suitable for any skin tone because it combines very light and dark highlighting shades. However, if you are very pale you can't really use the dark shade. These highlighters aren't that pigmented, but they blend nicely and are quite long lasting. All shades may have some fallout, but they are very pretty.

I've wanted to try this product for such a long time, but it's quite pricey and I wasn't sure if it's worth the money. However, I am so happy that I've gave it a try! The Lioele Jewel Cheek and Highlighter is a lovely product for anyone. It's a two in one product and you get a highlighter and a blush. A brush for the highlighter and a puff for the blush pearls is included. The blush pearls are multi colored for a more natural look and you can apply it with the blush puff on the apples of your cheeks. The highlighter is multi colored as well and it's supposed to be used on the center of your nose, the top of your cheekbones, the center of your chin and on your forehead.

The packaging is gorgeous! The pressed highlighter powder is on top and the blush is on the bottom in a transparent container. This product also comes with a mirror and two makeup tools.

The highlighter powder and the powder pearls are so pretty! The highlighter looks gorgeous! It blends easily and it's so pigmented. The blush pearls aren't as pigmented as the highlighter, but they are very blendable and look lovely on my skin tone! Both products have a pearly / frosty finish. I love that both products will last the whole day without smudging nor smearing. . 

I saw this palette on Instagram one day and wanted it so badly! It hasn't let me down since I've bought it. It's so beautiful and perfect for everyday or even special occasions. This palette comes with 8 shades. Two highlighting shades, 3 blushes and 3 bronzers. I love the variety of shades and finishes in this palette.

Contouring is a trend for quite some time. It's supposed to narrow and sculpt your face using powders or liquids. However it looks like strobing will be the new big thing. It's out there for quite some time, but these days I see it everywhere. Strobing is supposed to enhance your features instead of building a new face. It's all about highlighting instead of creating depth. You're supposed to apply highlighter on the highest points of your face. Always use a light hand and don't use too much product at once. Have you tried the new trend and do you like it?

Max Factor just released a strobing-set and it basically includes all you need. I saw it at the store and had to buy it. This set also inspired me to write this post. It's available in light, medium and dark. The strobing set comes with the Skin Luminizer Foundation, the Color Precision Eyeshadow and the CC Stick Highlighter. 

The Skin Luminizer Foundation has a dewy finish without looking overly shiny. It's oil controlling and very long lasting. I would say that this foundation provides medium coverage and still looks quite natural. The texture is lovely and it blends perfectly. I have to admit that the foundation is a little bit too dark for my skin tone. I hope that it will match me in summer. The CC Stick Highlighter is very creamy and easy to apply. It blends nicely into my skin and will last the whole day. I like that this highlighter stick has a slightly shiny finish, but doesn't contain any glitter so I won't look like a disco ball. Lastly the Color Precision Eyeshadow in the shade Pearl Beige is a lovely waterproof cream eyeshadow. The pigmentation is great and the eyeshadow blends nicely without any harsh lines. However this shadow will crease on me during the day and my eyelids will feel oily after around 6 hours. What's your favorite product from this set and do you own any?
