After a very long time I review a Korean beauty product again! I really like the Etude House Double Lasting Foundation. It is available in eight shades and should match most skin tones. Some shades have a beige and other a pink undertone. The shade I picked has more of a beige undertone. This foundation is advertised to be long lasting, transfer proof and it should provide full coverage. 

The Double Lasting Foundation comes in a glass container with a pump nozzle. It is very travel friendly and looks quite sturdy. I love that this foundation applies smoothly without looking streaky. I was surprised that this makeup will last all day long and I won't look overly shiny during the day. It doesn't feel heavy and won't transfer to my clothes. 

I think you already know that I love this Etude House foundation! Usually I like Korean makeup and especially their foundations. I am quite fair and have trouble to find the perfect foundation for my skin tone. This foundation fits my skin tone perfectly and it lasts all day long, won't transfer and it's oil controlling. I've found more drugstore foundations for light skin tones! These days more drugstore brands will release these kinds of foundations and I am very happy about that. However, there still aren't a lot foundations that will fit my skin tone. Especially in the winter time most drugstore foundations are still too dark. Today I want to show you four foundations that should fit most bright skin tones.

Out of all four foundations the Catrice HD Liquid Coverage is my favorite. It applies smoothly and will look like my second skin. The coverage is nice and buildable. I like that this foundation is very oil controlling and long lasting. Usually foundations by L'ORÉAL are way too dark for me. The Indefectible Sculpt Makeup is perfect once blended and it is long lasting as well. The coverage isn't that great, but at least it looks very natural. I am not a big fan of the L'ORÈAL Perfect Match Foundation, but it is quite light. I don't like it because it won't last for a very long time and I will look shiny after a few hours. The Astor Skin Match Foundation will last nearly all day long and it is quite oil controlling. However, the coverage isn't the best.

My favorite foundation is the Catrice HD Liquid Coverage. My skin just looks flawless and it gives me the no-makeup-makeup-look, if you know what I mean. What's your favorite foundation? Can you recommend one?

Overall I can recommend the PeriPera cushion to people with dry and dull looking skin without a lot of imperfections. It will apply smoothly and lasts all day long. However, the coverage isn't the best and it won't be suitable if you have very oily skin as well.

The Berrisom Essence BB Cream is nice for people with light skin tones. It's oil controlling, but will wear off after around 6 hours. The high coverage is a big plus and the packaging is quite nice, too. What do you think, would you buy it?

I always love to try new foundations and bb creams. I am always on the hunt for a better one. The crystal clear blemishes hide bb cream by cristal sol is supposed to provide full coverage and it also should be oil controlling. This bb cream should apply smoothly because it contains powder particles that also help to cover up blemishes and imperfections. However, this bb cream is only available in one shade and not suitable for dark and very light skin tones. 

Atriaum released an all day lasting foundation and I was so excited about that! It's available in two shades and provides SPF 30 and PA +++. It's supposed to provide full coverage and to last all day long. So far I haven't tried a lot of products by Aritaum. However I've heared a lot of good things and was very tempted to try this foundation.

I love full coverage foundations because I usually don't use concealer. I don't know about you, but I have very oily skin and I am always on the hunt for the perfect foundation!

The packaging is simple, but very hygienic and quite sturdy. This foundation comes with a white pump nozzle. One pump is enough for my whole face. I will probably never be able to use this makeup up. The texture of this product is just right. It blends seamlessly and covers bigger imperfection. I would say that this foundation provides nearly full coverage, but your face won't look painted on. It is very oil controlling and will literally last the whole day! 

Contouring is a trend for quite some time. It's supposed to narrow and sculpt your face using powders or liquids. However it looks like strobing will be the new big thing. It's out there for quite some time, but these days I see it everywhere. Strobing is supposed to enhance your features instead of building a new face. It's all about highlighting instead of creating depth. You're supposed to apply highlighter on the highest points of your face. Always use a light hand and don't use too much product at once. Have you tried the new trend and do you like it?

Max Factor just released a strobing-set and it basically includes all you need. I saw it at the store and had to buy it. This set also inspired me to write this post. It's available in light, medium and dark. The strobing set comes with the Skin Luminizer Foundation, the Color Precision Eyeshadow and the CC Stick Highlighter. 

The Skin Luminizer Foundation has a dewy finish without looking overly shiny. It's oil controlling and very long lasting. I would say that this foundation provides medium coverage and still looks quite natural. The texture is lovely and it blends perfectly. I have to admit that the foundation is a little bit too dark for my skin tone. I hope that it will match me in summer. The CC Stick Highlighter is very creamy and easy to apply. It blends nicely into my skin and will last the whole day. I like that this highlighter stick has a slightly shiny finish, but doesn't contain any glitter so I won't look like a disco ball. Lastly the Color Precision Eyeshadow in the shade Pearl Beige is a lovely waterproof cream eyeshadow. The pigmentation is great and the eyeshadow blends nicely without any harsh lines. However this shadow will crease on me during the day and my eyelids will feel oily after around 6 hours. What's your favorite product from this set and do you own any?

Astor recently launched a new mattifying foundation with an oil free formular. It claims to last for 16 hours and that it mattifies problematic areas on your face. I would love to have a makeup that could keep up with my oily skin. The shine control foundation should also blur fine lines, pores and smaller imperfections. However this foundation is only available in four shades, but it provides SPF 22. That isn't alot, but good enough for spring.

I will go to Rome on Wednesday and for one time I don't want to overpack! So I've already wrote a list of things I have to bring with me. This is literally what I will stuff in my makeup bag. There are way too many lipsticks, but I need all of them! This time I've also decided that I only bring a tiny eyeshadow palette with me. At first glance it looks like there is still too much makeup. What do you think?

I've always loved the Photo Finish Foundation and 24h Eyeshadow Primer by Smashbox and they will always be my favorite! Especially the eyeshadow primer makes such a big different and it's the best I've ever tried. The Contour and Eyeshadow Palette were part of the christmas collection by Stila. However both have the perfect size for traveling and the quality is amazing! I still don't know how I feel about the Clinique Chubby Lash Mascara, but it won't smudge that's why I will take it on the trip with me. Foundation wise I will bring the Indefectible Sculpt Contouring Base Makeup and Contouring Palette by L'ORÈAL. Both products are pretty new and I am totally impressed by them. Lastly my blush by bareMinerals can't be missing. I will include a full product list including not mentioned products below.

If I go on holiday I wanna make sure that my makeup will last the whole day. So usually I only use products I know and love a lot. Also I don't want to spend a lot of time in the bathroom. I always recommed to write a list of products you use on a daily basis. That way you won't forget anything and also won't overpack. What's the kind of product you cant't miss?

L'ORÈAL just came out with their new contour line. After I've swatched the sculpt contouring base makeup and the contouring palette I couldn't resist! Both products are only available in three shades. You can choose between light, medium and dark. I think that the foundation should be available in more shades! 

The foundation is very blendable and it provides medium coverage with a matte finish. It looks quite powdery on the face and I really like that. However this foundation feels quite heavy on the face. It will last for around 8 hours before I start looking shiny and I have very oily skin. The shade matches my skin tone nearly perfectly, but it might be too dark for people with very fair skin. The sculpt contouring palette is nearly perfect! The packaging isn't my favorite, but the performance of this product is great! I love that both shades have a matte finish. They will blend perfectly and will last for around 8 hours. Both shadows won't smudge nor look cakey during the day.

I am extremely happy with both products! The base makeup will blend perfectly and gives me a flawless and natural look. I love that this foundation has a matte and powdery finish. The contouring palette is lovely, too. I love the texture and both shades are very blendable and long lasting.
